Outhouse Race - Application Below

Rules:

1. You must have a team that consists of 3 people, I person inside and 2 people pushing.

2. There must be some type of seatbelt, and the person inside must be completely strapped inside for their safety.

3. Each outhouse must have secure handles either on sides or back for each person pushing.

4. Each outhouse must contain a toilet seat and a toilet paper roller with toilet paper.

5. Outhouses must be pushed, with no pedals or motors of any kind.

6. Outhouses may be built of any solid material. No chicken wire, barbed wire or glass allowed. No weight requirement.

7. Outhouses must have four sides, a roof and a doorway. A door is optional and must be secured open during the race. 

8. Windows are allowed but no glass may be used. 

9. Outhouses must be a minimum of 5 feet from the floor to the highest point of the outhouse, and a minimum of 9 square feet. (3 ft x 3 ft)

Other Rules:

1. If there is a collision, the race restarts at the start line

2. This is a timed race, Teams are judged on speed

3. Outhouses entered must pass inspection to qualify for race. 

*Any outhouse found to be unsafe or not meeting the specifications will be disqualified. Teams are encouraged to decorate their outhouses creatively, but all decorations must be securely attached and not pose a safety hazard.

Race Specifications:

1. The race will consist of 2 outhouses at a time racing down the track. Remember, you are racing for the best time.

2. The one with the best time will wait to compete against the winner of the next 2 that run. 

3. Then the winner of that run will compete against the winner of the following run and so forth.

4. If there is an odd number of entries the last team will make the run alone and will be timed accordingly.

5. The team with the shortest time will be our 1st place winner.

6. The team with the next shortest time will be our 2nd place winner.
